Acceptable Use Policy
What you may not upload to or generate with Tesla Roadster AI, how to report a video that breaks these rules, and how we review reports.
Last updated: 2026-10-18
This policy is part of the Terms of Service. It applies to every photo you upload, every prompt or setting you choose and every video generated on teslaroadsterai.org ("the service"). If you break it, we may refuse the generation, remove the content and suspend or close your account.
Prohibited content
Do not upload, generate, request or share through the service any of the following.
1. Sexual and NSFW content
- Nudity, sexual acts, or sexually suggestive or fetish content.
- Photos or videos that sexualise any real person, with or without their consent.
2. Violence and gore
- Graphic injury, blood, mutilation, torture or death.
- Content that glorifies, threatens or promotes violence, self-harm, terrorism or violent extremism.
- Videos staged to look like a real crash, attack or police incident in which people are hurt.
3. Hate speech
- Content that attacks, demeans or dehumanises people because of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or serious illness.
- Hate symbols, slurs or extremist propaganda, including on vehicles, clothing or signs in your photo.
4. Child safety (CSAM)
- Any sexual or sexualised depiction of a minor (anyone under 18), real or fictional. This is never allowed and we report it.
- Photos of children in the templates that put a person at the wheel (traffic escape and police stop). Use photos of adults only.
- Content that grooms, exploits or endangers minors.
5. Deepfakes and impersonation
- Photos of anyone other than yourself or a person who has agreed to appear. Do not use photos of celebrities, politicians or other public figures.
- Presenting a generated video as real footage, as news, or as an official Tesla, SpaceX or other brand video.
- Using a video to deceive, defraud, harass, bully or defame anyone, or to imitate a real person's identity.
6. Copyright and trademark infringement
- Photos you did not take and have no right to use, such as other people's photography, film or TV stills, or artwork.
- Using logos, brand names or trade dress to suggest that a video comes from or is endorsed by that brand.
- You are responsible for any third-party rights in what you upload and in how you use the videos.
Other illegal or harmful use
Do not use the service for anything illegal where you or the viewer live, to collect other people's personal data, to send spam, or to get around these rules, including by abusing free credits or creating multiple accounts.
How uploads are screened
- Every photo is checked by an automated content-safety screen before a generation starts and before any credits are charged. Flagged photos are refused, nothing is generated, and the refusal is logged against the account.
- Automated screening can miss content. Our team reviews user reports, refused uploads and repeat refusals, and may review the generation record of an account when there is a reason to.
- All videos the service makes are AI-generated. Label them as AI-generated when you share them.
How to report content
Anyone can report a video made with the service, with or without an account.
- Email: write to our support team at support@teslaroadsterai.org with the subject "Content report". No account is needed.
- Support ticket: if you are signed in, open a ticket in Settings → Tickets and start the title with "Content report".
Include as much of this as you can:
- A link to the video, or where you saw it (platform, account name, post link), plus a screenshot if the post may be removed.
- The video or task ID, if you made the video or the person who made it shared it.
- Which category above it breaks, and a short description of the problem.
- Your email address so we can reply.
- For impersonation: that the person shown is you, or that you act for them.
- For copyright or trademark claims: the work or mark you own, proof that you own it or act for the owner, and a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised.
Do not send us sexual images of minors, even as evidence. Report the link to us and to the NCMEC CyberTipline or your local police instead.
How we handle reports
- Acknowledge: we confirm that we received your report within 2 business days. Reports involving the safety of a child are handled first, within 24 hours.
- Review: a member of our team checks the report against the generation record, the uploaded photo, the generated video and the account's history.
- Act: if the content breaks this policy, we take one or more of these steps:
- delete the video and the uploaded photo from our storage;
- block further generations from the account;
- suspend or permanently close the account (repeat or serious violations, including every child-safety case, lead to closure);
- report child sexual abuse material to the NCMEC CyberTipline and, where required, to law enforcement, and keep the records the law requires.
- Reply: within 5 business days of your report we tell you the outcome: removed, restricted, or no violation found with the reason. We tell the account holder what was removed and why.
We cannot remove copies that have been reposted on other platforms; use that platform's own reporting tools as well.
Appeals
If your content was removed or your account restricted and you think we made a mistake, reply to our message or contact support at support@teslaroadsterai.org within 14 days. A different team member reviews the appeal and we reply within 5 business days.
Changes
We may update this policy; the date above shows the latest version.
